BRIAN P. BIGGINS, attorney profile.
Brian P. Biggins, Esq. was born in Warren, Ohio in 1960. He received his B.S. in
Business from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1982. Mr. Biggins obtained his
securities licenses in 1983 and worked in Chicago for the next decade as a broker,
branch manager and branch compliance officer for one of the nation's largest full service
brokerage firms. After relocating back to Ohio, Mr. Biggins left the securities industry
while attending Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate
in 1995.
In 1998, Mr. Biggins formed the law firm of Brian P. Biggins Associates Co., L.P.A. in
Rocky River, Ohio dedicating the firm's practice to the representation of individual
investors nationwide who have suffered damages through their financial dealings in the
securities industry. His firm has represented individuals from across the United States
as well as Europe and has won judgments and settlements against many large and
small broker/dealers. Mr. Biggins is a member of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association (PIABA), the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA), the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) and has been named in America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals. Mr. Biggins is married and has two daughters.
NEIL D. PETKOVIC, attorney profile.
Neil D. Petkovic is a native of Barberton, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Business
Administration in Finance from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, graduating Cum
Laude in 2004. Mr. Petkovic furthered his education by enrolling at Cleveland-Marshall
College of Law, Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio immediately following his
undergraduate study. While attending law school full time, he obtained a clerking
position with Brian P. Biggins Associates Co., L.P.A. As a law clerk, Mr. Petkovic
provided litigation support services including legal and financial research as well as the
assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of new clients potential securities
claims by utilizing his skills from his background in finance.
Upon receiving his Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State
University in May 2007 and being admitted to the Ohio Bar in November 2007, Mr.
Petkovic became an associate attorney with Brian P. Biggins Associates Co., L.P.A.
He now represents individual investors and securities industry professionals in all phases of securities litigation and arbitration through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and maintains a general practice of law as a listed Public Defender in various Ohio counties. Mr. Petkovic is a
member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association (PIABA). He
is married and resides in Summit County.
